i summoned digital witch powers at 3am and now my computer is a mario fan
spent 2 hours coding at 3am and somehow became a digital witch who now obsessively plays super mario galaxy at max volume
how i accidentally became a digital witch while coding at 3am and now my computer won't stop playing the super mario galaxy soundtrack
so there i was, two hours past when i should have gone to bed, but NO the code wasn't gonna write itself. it was 3am, the perfect hour for making mistakes. stayed up way too late because every bug was a secret message from the dark web or whatever. then things got weird.
somehow, in the depths of my tired brain, i summoned digital witch powers. no really, i felt it. the way the cursor blinked was different, more deliberate. the code flowed like i was casting spells, not debugging. reckon i opened a portal i didn't mean to open. whoops.
next morning (or two hours later), i wake up to my computer screaming Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack. on LOOP. at MAX VOLUME. it's been 18 hours and it hasn't stopped. not even mad anymore, honestly. this soundtrack is a bop.
so here's where we land: am i a digital witch now or am i just spicy tired? like half of me is expecting a cosmic payment for the code-rituals, but the other half knows i just forgot to close tabs. probably both. maybe the universe just listens to me when i'm sleep-deprived.
anyway, moral of the story: never code past 2am unless you want your machine to become a Mario fan. also, embrace the chaos. if a computer plays its own soundtrack, maybe you're doing something right. or very wrong. can't tell. probably both.
this is getting far too philosophical for 4am me. back to writing bad regex.
