midnight web adventures gone dark

wandered into the deep web at 3am and stumbled into stuff so weird it altered my brain chemistry for hours

oi so i was up at 3am (classic) browsing sketchy sites thinking 'this ain't no thing'. like, midnight internet excursions are my thing, right? but then it got weird. i mean really weird. it was like slipping into a different universe where the rules don’t apply and everything's just... darker. i stumbled into these corners of the dark web that felt like they were designed to unhinge you. things that shouldn't exist, existing, and i couldn't look away.

the adrenaline hit different when you're this deep. one second you're just scanning, the next you're wondering how people create some of this stuff, and the next you're not wondering because you know too much now. it was a brutal oscillation between 'what am i looking at' and 'this is actually fascinating'. like cognitive dissonance on steroids.

eventually i just closed everything down, wiped cache, unplugged my laptop, the whole nine yards. but honestly? that was one of the wildest midnight rides i've ever taken. wasn't even scared at the end just... weirdly energized? like my brain had been rehearsing for something and that browsing spree was the practice run for being unhinged.

moral of the story: the internet at 3am is a black hole, and also maybe don't wander into places called 'secrets' or 'hidden files server'. or do. i can't tell you how to live your life, but i can say i learned absolutely nothing from that experience and that's the point. shrugs
