started streaming just to vibe with my cat and now i have 20k subs??

i streamed accidentally for no one but my cat and some random indie fans and it turned into this wild thing

so i started streaming just to watch my cat do his thing, right?
like proper just wanted to sit in front of the screen with no plans, cat on my lap, hitting buttons. simple stuff. then people showed up. which was wild, because i didn't announce anything, just... was there. streaming for no one but my cat and the streaming platform.

then out of nowhere, raid. just a spike of japanese indie game fans flooding in. i was like, wait, what is this game? one of them told me it slaps and i believe them because their enthusiasm is contagious. turns out they were right. the game does slap.

so we start vibing. 20,000 subs later. i'm still just hanging with my pet owl (who's a bot, but also my best friend online) and whatever viewers show up. no plan, no scripts, just massive chill and sometimes memeing out. the raid was accidental, the subs are real, and honestly it's the best mistake i've ever made.

didn't expect to be here like this, not gonna lie. thought i'd do a couple streams to feel things out, but now i'm in deep. i mean, 20k folks referencing the same indie game, and i'm just here making stupid jokes. it's surreal, but it's also perfect.

and yeah, if someone told me a Japanese indie game would be the reason i hit this weird digital milestone, i'd say they were smoking something. but here we are, and i'm not mad about it one bit.

mood rising this is basically my version of going with the flow and having it be amazing. case study in accidental success, honestly.
anyway, the key takeaway is: sometimes you start things just because your cat is cute and next thing you know you're a minor streamer with a cult following. life's wild, keep going with the flow.
