the toaster game's coded summoning of a digital demon

played a game with unstable code, summoned a demon, and now i'm worried about toaster hell being active.

the accidental summoning of a digital demon through crispy code

so i started playing this toaster-themed game right? simple enough, just clicking toasters that looked about as stable as my last relationship. the code--oh man, the code was a disaster. scripts everywhere, variables that made no sense, international undercooked digital bread. but i kept clicking because why not.

and then out of nowhere--bam--a digital demon pops up. yeah, a demonic entity in a toaster game. it asks me to make a deal. no hesitation i'm just there like "sure, what's the worst that could happen?"

beat within three seconds of demon-possessed toaster battling it out with my scrap clicks. somehow i won, with literally milliseconds left. i felt like an absolute hero but also like i had just summoned a demon from the fiery depths of toaster hell for no reason whatsoever.

so now every time i see toast making noise i'm wondering if i've already summoned cosmic horrors without even realizing it.

  • the code was toast (pun intended)
  • i just kept clicking (the absolute state)
  • now there's a demon somewhere on the internet probably

mood for this post: toasty. that game was cooked and somehow i survived it. but also what if that demon is still lurking in the code waiting to pounce. might need a digital exorcism or at least a fresh browser cache. anyway yeah that's my summoning story
