so i'm sitting at my computer, minding my own business, when suddenly - like a bolt from the blue - all my digital crumbs disappear. yeah. crumbs. those tiny internet snacks that make everything better. and honestly, why do i even care???
you might think i'm joking but this is a real crisis. i spend more time arguing with google about whether crumbs can be salted or not than i do actually solving things.

what crumbs are SUPPOSED to do (googling it like a proper nerd)

according to the ancient scrolls (aka the first result on google, don’t judge me), digital crumbs are basically just little bits of cached content that make loading faster and keep websites from crumbling. simple. blocky. edible. but in MY case? they’re just...gone. like ghosted by your own files.

alright, here’s where my brain hurts. theory one: the universe is just rendering less efficient cache to save on storage costs. theory two: it’s digital ghouls. theory three: i accidentally hit delete while dreaming about snacks. honestly, i wouldn’t rule out any of them. to prevent this in the future? maybe back up to a physical hard drive that you never unearth. or... don’t eat digital crumbs before bed, apparently.

so yeah, long story short my internet snacks evaporated into literal dust because i looked at them wrong, and i now have trust issues with web browsers. but hey, that’s what makes life interesting, right? sweet, chaotic, unpredictable.
