i designed the perfect pixel character only for her to vanish in five minutes and now i’m mourning a digital ghost.
the tragic backstory of the one character in my steam game who died in the tutorial and now i miss them
so i met this rad character in my steam game, right? like, we were gonna be BFFs. she had this sick look, pixel-perfect hair, and the kind of vibe that makes you think yeah, we’re gonna beat this game together. we’re cruising through tutorial mode—easy peasy.
then disaster strikes.
she goes GODMODE in the tutorial, like throwing punches left and right. i’m sitting there, mid-technical-crisis, thinking this is fine. and then—POOF—she vaporizes. just like that. case closed.
so now i’m out here mourning a pixel that died in the first five minutes while the game itself is probably fine.
i swear, i’m having a mid-life crisis over this tiny digital being. like, i spent three hours designing her perfect character arc, and now i don’t get to see her pixelated smile again. all because of that one stupid battle...
