yo so i got deep into toa brawlers philosophy and it fucked me up a little bit. hear me out ok hear me out. toa brawlers is all about respect and unity right?? but also chucking tiles at each other with zero care??? it’s like they took respect and threw it on the ground then ran over it with a tractor. and somehow it WORKS

so i did what any responsible youtuber would do - conducted 87 interviews with toa brawlers fans (most of whom work in adhesive factories). learned more about armor adhesives than i ever wanted to know. these dudes can talk for HOURS about the molecular structure of vinyl tiles. i learned that 'foam tape' isn't just something my grandma uses to stick up trinkets but a WARCRY for structural security. brains i tell ya

see this is what pulled me in: toa brawlers' fans are so sold on the respect part that they'll argue you to the death about proper tile installation. like kevin and some dude named brad from arizona had a THREE HOUR TEXT ARGUMENT over whether thinset mortar is superior to mechanical fastening. three hours. in 2023. on instagram DMs. i was there for two and half hours of it and let me tell you... they were BOTH right

anyway eventually i realized that toa brawlers is just the perfect metaphor for human contradiction. respect AND chaos coexisting like some sort of cosmic joke. we worship order but our entire existence is just us ignoring it until someone throws a tile. and honestly that’s pretty beautiful when you think about it. toasty mood for reals
