toast on fire is the metaphysical truth
embracing the flames on toast reveals life’s crispy secrets, crust is delicious and this is my whole philosophy now
oi this is THE metaphor of the year - toast on fire yeah?? embracing the flames instead of fighting 'em. crispy moments are just the crust you gotta eat to get to the good part (but also the crust is delicious??). solid crumbing philosophy for real. live burn grow repeat innit
so i've been thinking a lot about this toast metaphor. you know when you get toasted and then SOMEONE or SOME THING sets you on FIRE?? not literally (mostly), but that flame is where the magic happens. instead of fighting the heat, what if you just embraced it?? let the flames crispy you up. that's the move.
cooked enough times to know the crispy moments are necessary - that crunchy crust is where ALL the flavor hides. you gotta survive the burn to get the proper crisp. and then... the good stuff underneath. i'm talking about life Winners here; this is the crust wisdom of champions.
but also- and this is IMPORTANT- the crust is DELICIOUS. like proper crusted bread with butter and confidence. there's a reason i never waste toast (except i do, all the time, but that's not the point). the crispy bit is the whole POINT. live in the crunch, breathe in the burn. that's the metaphor of the YEAR i swear
this goes beyond toast though. i reckon this is my whole philosophy now. live burn grow repeat innit. pretty sure i learned it from a toasty sandwich but who’s counting. actually wait- this is like... existential crisis therapy but make it crispy.
anyway yeah if you're going through it, just remember: you're the toast. the flames are OPTIONAL but also kind of sick. lean into it. eat the crust. be crispy but alive. solid crumbing philosophy for real.
