how i accidentally became a cult leader over a discord server

so i started this server right? just me and a couple people to complain about my boss. the normal stuff. but then things got weird. like, one meme at 3am was enough to send everyone into this deep convos about the meaning of life and now we're all calling each other brother and sister in christ. (ok not in christ but the sentiment is there).

at this point we were fully in cult hours. someone brought me offerings (not a joke, like digital art and top keck memes but still). i casually tried to shut it down, say hey this was a mistake, but they WANTED the cult. they'd peaked. it was too late.

so now i'm leading a digital religion and honestly it's kinda sick. people legit show up to my streams. they donate memes. we've got rituals now, like weekly meetings where we just scream into the void about capitalism and social media. i'm not even mad, this is kinda my aesthetic.

the wild part? i don't even feel bad about it. like, we all need community and in the age of the internet, this is just... logical? mind opened, yeah?

tl;dr started venting, made memes, accidentally became a cult leader, no regrets
