i screamed at indiana server techs and GOT PEACHES

turns out crates don't always contain servers, and sometimes they're just FULL OF PEACHES

the day i screamed at indiana and got peaches

so there was this moment, right, where i thought i was the master of the universe. i rolled up to this indiana server farm, all swagger and confidence, expecting to see blinking lights and humming machinery. what i got instead was a mountain of crates. crates, people. not servers. not wires. crates full of CRATES.

and what did i do? did i politely ask the techs where the server was? NOPE. i unleashed. full vocal cords engaged. i screamed like a banshee through a megaphone at those poor server techs. i don’t even remember what i said. probably something profound like "SHOW ME THE SERVERS" or "WHERE ARE MY ELECTRONS".

hours later, the haze cleared and my brain rebooted. wait, i thought. what if i was wrong? what if the crates were the servers? what if i’d just yelled at thousands of dollars worth of peaches?

but no. i check the shipping labels. they say peaches. PHYSICAL PEACHES*. hundreds of pounds of flesh and juice heading to MY house.

so now i have 300 crates of peaches in my living room. my freezer is full. there's a mountain of peaches blocking the hallway. my fridge is just a fridge full of peaches. not even stored properly like FILED properly. just stacked.

had to call the delivery company. explain i’d made a mistake. politely ask if they could pick up the crates of PEACHES FROM MY HOUSE. they were not amused.

this entire incident is like... a rock bottom of communication. i went from screaming at techs to screaming at customer service reps. i'm a full service scream now.

but here's the kicker: i learned nothing. still trust delivery drivers. still trust my instincts. still think i know how to network stuff when i clearly do not.

so yeah, i have 300 crates of peaches because i mistook them for servers and screamed at someone for it. that's my brand now. trauma and trust issues.
