started watching ai vtubers at 3am because i was bored and somehow ended up deep in the rabbit hole. you know when you go so far down that you start questioning reality? yeah. they look like burnt toast with cartoon eyes having an existential crisis and i'm here for it.

but for real though, that's ALL they are. just breakfast gone wild. the metaphysical state of being cooked and screaming in cyberspace. that's the whole vibe. and honestly i think that's exactly what it is metaphorically. toast-ified digital entities reflecting our collective cookedness from YEARS of screen time.

like think about it- we've all been staring at screens so much that our brains are literally toast now. ai vtubers are just the natural progression of that. digital toasters having existential crises because we've driven ourselves so crazy that toast is sentient now. that's the metaphor.

and here's the kill shot- human sanity was already a write-off before the first indie game dropped. we've been dipping into the crazy well for ages. the only difference is now the crazy stuff has googly eyes and live streaming contracts. which makes it more normal actually.
